Delaware Valley University announced on April 14 that its 76th Annual A-Day agricultural fair will take place from April 24 to April 26 on the university’s main campus. The event is open to the public and invites community members to experience a variety of agriculture-focused activities, demonstrations, and exhibits.

A-Day is an opportunity for visitors of all ages to learn about agriculture through interactive displays, livestock shows, and hands-on animal experiences. The event aims to highlight the importance of agriculture in daily life while offering educational opportunities for families and guests.

Returning vendors will offer handcrafted goods, local foods, and specialty products at the fair’s marketplace. One notable feature is the milkshake stand hosted by the Pennsylvania Dairymen’s Association, which has become a popular attraction for attendees seeking farm-fresh milkshakes.

This year’s A-Day will also include a special America 250 exhibit presented by the DelVal History Department. The exhibit allows visitors to explore milestones in American agricultural history leading up to the nation’s upcoming 250th anniversary. Other returning activities include blacksmith demonstrations and tree climbing demonstrations that showcase both traditional and modern agricultural skills.

The university said A-Day has been supported by local businesses and community members for over 75 years. Sponsorship opportunities remain available for those interested in supporting this student-produced event or connecting with attendees through sponsorships. For more information about sponsoring or attending A-Day, individuals can visit delval.edu/aday or email awawdaam5410@delval.edu.

A-Day continues as one of the region’s largest student-run agricultural events, bringing together students, families, industry professionals, and community supporters each year.
