Delaware Valley University has announced a partnership with Gritty to launch a new non-credit Medical Sales Leadership Certificate. The program is designed to provide practical skills and industry knowledge for those interested in entering medical device and pharmaceutical sales.

The certificate will offer live, remote instruction, hands-on sales simulations, product training, and access to Gritty’s video-based recruitment and learning platform. Participants will learn about career pathways in the medical sales industry, professional selling techniques such as pre-call planning and the CIRCL Selling Model, objection handling using the DEAL framework, and strategies for job readiness including resume writing and interview preparation.

The program targets undergraduates, early-career professionals, aspiring sales professionals, and individuals seeking a career change into medical sales. Graduates of the program will receive a non-credit certificate and a digital badge as proof of their skills.

The collaboration aims to create new opportunities by aligning professional learning with academic pathways. There may also be future options for applying these non-credit credentials toward graduate-level study.

“This partnership reflects DelVal’s mission to blend real-world experience with academic excellence,” said Joseph Paris, dean of Graduate and Professional Studies. “Alongside Gritty’s industry expertise, we are creating meaningful opportunities for students and professionals to advance their careers in a dynamic, high-growth field.”

Prospective students are encouraged to apply early due to anticipated demand. Enrollment information can be found at https://delvalmedicalsales.framer.website/form/enroll.

Gritty is known for its work in professional development within healthcare and life sciences sales through coaching, simulations, and video-based candidate preparation.
