Leading Edge Aviation, Inc issued the following announcement on May 22.
Leading Edge acquired an ion distribution unit from Aero Engineering. We will be using this to sanitize our King Air B200 before every flight. Variations of these units are used by airlines and other charter companies.
How it works on a virus: the unit produces positive (H+) and negative (O2-) ions, which surround the surface proteins of a virus, and change these into water (H2O). With the surface structure destroyed, the virus can no longer infect.
The unit also kills fungi and allergens, completely naturally, without chemicals or toxins.
With this unit we are pleased to be able to create a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our customers and pilots.
