Acme Tools issued the following announcement on Dec. 03.
A brad point drill bit produces a nice crisp hole in wood. To get the most from it, first drill in reverse to lightly score the wood with the shoulders of the bit.
Then switch the drill’s direction to drill a hole with nice sharp edges.
