County of Bucks recently issued the following announcement.

Neshaminy Manor Nursing Home will host a job fair this week in an effort to address an ongoing nursing staff shortage afflicting the Bucks County-owned long-term care facility.

Flexible schedules, union benefits and sign-on bonuses are among the perks the county hopes will attract candidates to fill dozens of open registered nurse, licensed practical nurse and nursing assistant positions.

“Nurses are one of the most important, most essential jobs in this nation, but are sadly in short supply,” said Commissioner Diane Ellis-Marseglia. “We are eager to find nurses to work at our award-winning nursing home and are offering a signing bonus to encourage them to work for Bucks County at Neshaminy Manor.”

The job fair will run from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m., and again from 3 p.m. – 5 p.m. Wednesday, July 14, at Neshaminy Manor, 1660 Easton Road, Doylestown Township.

The facility is looking to fill 12 full-time positions, including eight RN jobs across all shifts, two LPN spots and two CNA positions. Neshaminy Manor also is hiring for six part-time CNA slots.

Registered nurses start at $30.38 per hour, LPNs at $27.91 and CNAs at $20.78. All full-time employees also are eligible to receive full benefits including a generous health insurance package, paid time off and a county pension plan.

In addition, Neshaminy Manor is looking to hire 18 RNs in pool/per diem positions, as well as four LPNs and three CNAs.

Neshaminy Manor is a union facility.
