Archbishop Wood High School recently issued the following announcement.
“Wheels at Wood” is a charity event to raise funds to support Archbishop Wood's awardwinning "RoboVikings" Robotics Team, who this year were semi-finalists in the FIRST World Championships.
It takes tens-of-thousands of dollars annually to keep the team going, and the students are holding this show to offset much of those costs. Please consider coming!
This year’s show will again include a fantastic live music show, including appearances by The Doylestown Heat Jazz Band offering jazz standards, and guitarist extraordinaire Thomas Galie playing classic favorites.
The show will also include a craft sale, demos of the team’s robot, a beer wall raffle and gift basket raffles, along with great food, hot and cold beverages and tempting treats. It’s one of the most exciting and entertaining shows of the year! **
The first 100 vehicles registered will receive dash plaques & goodie bags **
Date: Saturday, September 25, 2021 (Rain date TBD)
Time: Show cars, bikes and vendors may arrive as early as 8:00 am Show opens to the public at 9:00 am
Where: Archbishop Wood High School, 655 York Road, Warminster, PA
Cars: $20 per vehicle prior to Aug 27 / $25 after Aug 27 (charitable donation)
Craft Tables: $30 per table prior to Aug 27 / $35 after Aug 27 (charitable donation)
