Pine Run Elementary School recently hosted their first family literacy night. The event catered to kindergarten through third grade students and focused on foundational literacy skills and phonemic awareness. Hosted by reading specialists Colleen Wicen and Jenn Costantini, the event was themed, “Cozy Up with a Good Book!” Teacher volunteers and families participated in hands on stations, learned about evidence-based reading strategies, and participated in activities and games that they may later share at home! #CBSDPROUD
