State Rep. Shelby Labs | Pennsylvania 143rd Legislative District
Rep. Shelby Labs has announced that the Pennridge Community Center in Silverdale will receive a $2,551 grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Aging. This funding is part of the Senior Community Center (SCC) grants.
"The Pennridge Community Center has always been a fantastic place of community for seniors across my district," stated Labs. "I know this funding will be put to good use and help produce great programs for seniors that use Pennridge Community Center for their activities and social events."
The grant is included in the $1 million allocated for SCCs, which aims to support smaller needs and program improvements at recipient centers. The General Assembly appropriates these funds through proceeds from the Pennsylvania Lottery.
