State Rep. Shelby Labs | Pennsylvania 143rd Legislative District
House Republican Policy Committee Chairman Joshua D. Kail, along with Rep. Shelby Labs and other lawmakers, will hold a hearing titled "Protecting Victims: Solutions to Combat Stalking." The event aims to raise awareness about the various forms of stalking and identify legal blind spots that hinder law enforcement's ability to intervene.
The hearing will feature several testifiers, including Nicholas Virnelson, interim chief of Bedminster Township Police Department; Jennifer Schorn, district attorney for Bucks County; Matthew Phelan, retired police chief of Bedminster Township Police Department; Laurie Hepler, civilian community relations specialist and victim advocate at Bedminster Township Police Department; and Gayle Marinelli, a local resident from Bucks County.
The session is scheduled for Wednesday, September 4th at 1 p.m. It will take place at Upper Bucks Technical School located at 3115 Ridge Road in Perkasie, Pennsylvania. For those unable to attend in person, the hearing will be streamed online provided there are no technical difficulties.
