Rep. Shelby Labs and Sen. Jarrett Coleman have announced a significant financial boost for Dublin Borough with a $1.25 million grant from the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP). The funding is earmarked for the ongoing revitalization efforts in the borough.
The grant will be used to support the construction of a mixed-use property, which includes developing commercial space and outdoor public amenities such as benches, seating features, and gathering spaces. Additionally, it will aid in streetscaping improvements, contributing to Dublin Borough's transformation into a more walkable area.
"I am happy to see these funds being awarded to support the continued revitalization of Dublin Borough," stated Rep. Labs. "These funds will no doubt assist in the effort to ensure Dublin Borough continues to be a great place to recreate and live."
Sen. Coleman expressed similar sentiments: "I am happy to work alongside Rep. Labs to improve Dublin’s Main Street," he said. "Projects like this will help ensure Dublin Borough remains a great place to live, work and raise a family."
The RACP is managed by the Office of the Budget and supports regional economic, cultural, civic, recreational, and historical improvement projects across the Commonwealth.
