Steve Cortes, president of the League of American Workers, said President Donald Trump's recent visit to a McDonald's in Feasterville, Pennsylvania "exposed Kamala Harris," who claims to have worked at the fast food chain when she was younger, "as an inauthentic liar."
"A billionaire mogul is as every bit as comfortable in a fast food kitchen as he is in a corporate board room or a meeting with heads of state," Cortes said in a post on X about the video. "But Trump’s visit also effectively exposed Kamala Harris as an inauthentic liar who cannot be trusted by the American people."
Trump visited the Feasterville McDonald's on October 20 and spent some time working alongside employees, managing the fry station, and giving customers their orders through the drive through window.
"He served up fries and not lies, unlike Kamala Harris," Cortes said in his video.
Harris has claimed that she had a job at McDonald's while completing her undergraduate degree. A Snopes report on the claim says the fact is "unproven" as there has been no evidence like "a photo, employment record or confirmation from a friend or family member" to back up the claim.
"She wrote not one, but two, autobiographies and she never mentioned it in either, even though she has an entire chapter of her book specifically about the service industry," Cortes said. "That omission seems beyond strange."
