Mercer Museum And Fonthill Castle issued the following announcement on Nov. 3.
It's Election Day! Throughout history, voting has been fundamental part of our democracy.
In the Mercer Museum's collection is this Bucks County Voting Machine Demo (1980-2005), which was an instruction model for voters using the Jamestown style voting machine with rows of levers.
Additionally, in our collection is this Bucks County Voter List from 1870. This partially bound manuscript listed Bucks County Voters and their details, including voter names, housekeepers, residence addresses, initials, occupations, places of boarding, names of employers, dates of assessment, and more.
