Borough of Chalfont recently issued the following announcement.
NOTICE OF APPOINTMENT TO FILL VACANCY ON BOROUGH COUNCIL
A vacancy exists in the Council of Chalfont Borough and notice is herewith given that any registered elector of the Borough desiring to fill said vacancy should immediately so notify Borough Council in writing addressed to:
40 N. Main Street, Chalfont PA 18914; attn: John Engel, Council President
and said notice should be accompanied with a resume or statement of qualifications of the person desiring to fill said vacancy.
Applicants for the Office of Council Member will be interviewed by Borough Council in public commencing at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, September 13 2021 at Chalfont Borough Hall; and Council will take action to fill the vacancy in the Office of Council Member, immediately after the conclusion of interviews on September 13, 2021, and act upon such other matters pertaining to the vacancy as come before Council.
The public is invited to attend and to participate as permitted by law.
